Thanks Richard. I re-read my original post and perhaps I should have been clearer. If I set the surface to use the common running bond brick vectorial hatch, or wood 00, it shows up, but setting it to lightweight concrete or virtually anything else did not.
Definitely a good thought, but I think this one is a bug that needs to be verified by the community.
