Elevations | blended vectorial hatching/material view

Anonymous
Not applicable
A question on the display of Vectorial Hatching in the elevation tool.

Two identical elements are placed together, in this case two columns.
They have the same material, therefore the same vectorial hatch in elevation.

Short of assigning them different materials, is there a setting which allows the identical objects to display as two elements, rather than one blended mass.

Looking forward to someone's solution to this, Thanks (:

No the whole idea is when two surfaces join with the same material it is expected that you would want a seam-less join.
You will need to change to a new material but all you need to do is duplicate the existing material and give it a slightly different name.
i.e. "column material 1" and "column material 2".
