SOLVED!

External dwg origin

Llian
Advocate
I looked through the search and not getting the answer. I also opened the translator and not finding it.
I am placing couple of external dwg plans into archicad but it doesn't have option as to whether it should be placed where I want it to be or be placed in the same orginal dwg origin. this will be a problem of placing updated external dwg plans.
I am sure archicad is smart enough to have already thought of that issue and I am missing how to do that. Please help.

You have this option only when placing a DWG/DXF as an XREF.
In the Place XREF Dialog you can check a checkbox to place to original location or define it graphically.

If you place the DWG/DXF using the Drawing Tool, then you can move that Drawing to wherever you want.
