Does anyone one how to add non-transparent fills with patterns. When I add fills over section cut fills they seam to be transparent.

Martin,
Select the fill, go to Tools/Display Order, and Bring to Front.

you may also have to change your display option for background fills to "use element settings" or display background color". It sounds like you may have it set to all fills transparent.
Be sure you set the display option in plotmaker as well. for some reason PM doesn't assume you want the setting you saved in your view from AC.
