Floor plan cut plane issue with ctrl+arrow for go up/down

I create a clone folder for my stories and I change the fpcp for one story and it works great when I use the navigator and double clicking in the view map. It remembers the different fpcp (clone fpcp is thus overwritten for that particular story). However when I'm using ctrl+arrows for going up/down one story I get the default FPCP as saved with the clone. How is it supposed to work. I'm content with one way...not two different ways...

View settings are only saved in the View Map. The Story Up / Down command uses the Project Map and hence does not carry the saved view settings. Not sure how to get around this...
