Floor plan joining of Shell and Wall

Any ways to have a wall and a shell joining in floor plan?

Looks good in 3D and joins there without issues, but in plan.... not so much.

Actually no other tool seems to join with the shell, even when executing the almighty "Join elements" command.

If everything played nicely with extruded shells - what would we do with all the workarounds 🤔
