Free modeling objects in ArchiCad

If we make a objects in for example Cinema4d that should be wall in ArchiCad.
How do we place windows and doors in this 'wall'?

Freestanding doors / windows isn't possible in ArchiCad.

Do we have to cut holes with SEO, then place a wall in same size that our door/window is?

Or how do you do?

Of course freestanding windows can happen in Archicad.

Select any window in the plan view.

"Save Selection As" an object.

You need to jig a symbol, but there it is, floating in space.

You could also place a little piece of wall and place an real window in it. The wall only needs to be big enough such that you can CLICK a window into it.

That's how I do, thanks anyway.
Maybe I wasn't clear in my question, but I start this thread to have a discussion about different way to do it and so on. My english bugs..

Neither way cuts the imported wall - you still need to block it out with an SEO.
