General rules for which tool to use

Being very new to Archicad, I am looking for some general advice on which tools to use for what. We have walls, slabs, complex profiles, morphs etc. I can have a wall made from the wall tool, a slab, a complex profile or made form a morph. The fact that the slab tool is labeled 'slab' only means it makes something flat. So very generally, which tools would one use for what objects and what the potential pitfalls from using the wrong tool.

Thanks for the link. This looks good. I've read a lot of Jared's posts but never seen these.
