Generating and not responding some of the views, 3D and some sheet with the elevation

Hi there,

    We are three people in the office were working on teams project and now we are having a problem with the file. We spent half of the day trying to figure out what happened but cant. I had tried to intersect the walls with wall surfaces associated with them and it didn't work, it started to say it was updating/generating 3D views, sect, elevation or something like that. I could not send and receive... because the file was not responding anymore.

I then left it like that on office and went home and when I came back at the office in the morning today, it was still like that. We have tried our best. Cant seem to figure out why the file is not working properly, 3D views, some of the sheets wont respond... if we go to those views it keeps moving and cant click on anything... and only can force close with ending the task.

My assumption would be that something has been done that has resulted in a corrupt or extremely high poly object in 3D. So you are unable to stop the tab updating?
