To give you a bit more info. . .
Print to PDF from plotmaker, and set your output at the desired size and print resolution. I.E. if you're wanting to print an ARCH D print at 266 DPI from Photoshop, then set your PDF settings to an ARCH D 300 DPI from Plotmaker (I recommended using Plotmaker as you can lay out your page with a WYSIWYG interface).
When printing RASTER images always remember: It's easier to decrease resolution, but when you increase it your print will be more pixelated (blocky).
If your pdf printer is correctly configured, you can bring the PDF into the more current versions of photoshop at whatever DPI you choose, because plotmaker sends the data to the PDF as vector (equation) data instead of raster (pixel / square) data.
