License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Dear AC-Talkers,

Hotfix-6 is now available for all the major language versions of ArchiCAD 12. You can download the Hotfix through the Help menu/ Check for Updates command. You can find a list of fixed bugs in the Release Notes.

Honestly, why do I have to cross my fingers every time I install a Hotfix...

See attached to see what I am experiencing after my "successful" install of the AC12 Hotfix #6

Trying to open AC12 (after the install)... It was working fine prior to the update.

BTW - I have uninstalled VBE to see if that was causing it... Nope.

Sorry to hear this. I've been working fine, both platforms, since the update.
Curious.

Well, I gave up fixing the update and did a complete uninstall and reinstall of AC12 + hotfix + add-ons. It seems to be working again.

BTW - I still can't get my MEP Modeler Add-On working (ever since Hotfix#5, my MEP for AC12 has been broken). At least AC13 is working fine.

I'm not entirely sure about this but from what I understand MEP 12 doesn't run once MEP 13 is installed. The workaround is to work in 13 and save back to 12. AC12 (without the MEP add-on) can open the file properly with the MEP12 library loaded. You just can't edit the parts like you can with the tools loaded.

MEP works in both 12 and 13 for me. I believe the deal is that the add-on has to be installed so that the hotfix updates it properly. Otherwise, presumably the current download of the add-on will work.

MEP is also working fine in 12 & 13 both platforms.

Since I updated my AC 12 to the previous Hotfix#5, my MEP add-on became unusable on my MAC version. But it was working fine on my Windows version (until this last AC12 Hotfix#6 update).

This is unfortunate since I do most of my GDL development in AC12. Most of my MEP objects will check to see if the MEP add-on is available and work differently depending on whether it is installed or not. So now I am going to have to develop in AC12 and then test in AC13... How unproductive is that?
