How can i cut the part of the green wall above the stairs?

I want to put a wall below those stairs but i can't find a way to cut that trim that wall. is there a way to do it?

Design > Solid Element Operations. Type of operation: subtraction with upwards extrusion. Target: the wall. Operator: the stairs.
