How do i reposition the editing plane that appears when placing a morph?

As you can see, when I'm placing a morph, the grid doesn't align with my floor, which is quite annoying. How do i align this grid with the rest of the building? I've tried to align the default editing plane that appears when you're not placing anything, but it doesn't seem to affect this specific grid.
Thanks!

You are working in 3D, but might the 2D Orientation be the cause?

No, my construction grid in 2D is as it should be.

So your walls are along x-y axis? Can you place your morph in 2D instead?

Yes, in 2D it works fine (everything is orthogonal like i want) but in 3D things get crooked.

I have the same issue, have you resolved this in any way?
