How to Prevent a Part of Complex Profile From Stretching?

When a wall profile combines the wall it self and moldings, is it possible in any way to Prevent the molding from stretching in any direction when the height of the wall changes?
Thanks,
Joseph

It depends on where you put your vertical stretch lines.
You need both of them to be under or over your moulding.
What stretches is what ever is in between those lines.

Yes.

Move the stretching control lines appearing in the profile editor to define areas of stretch and static.

When you check the Horizontal and Vertical Stretch options - you get the lines.

If the automatic merging is a problem, keep the shapes apart a smidgeon.

The attached example shows how I constrain vertical stretching to the gap only.

only.
When control lines are above and below the moulding they keep the distances from the top & bottom of the wall fixed (7' & 1') but when when the height of the wall changes the total height of moulding (2') changes?

What do you mean?

Get straight on who said what.

Your diagram shows the stretch lines directly above and below the doo-dah.

Move them both down to the plain wall somewhere below the doo-dah. That will them be the only part that will stretch....

Thanks, that did it; But that means if a wall has a Base Board & Top Moulding as profiles one of them will be stretched regardless?

Sorry for miss quoting; was trying to save time.

No!!!!

Put the dotted lines on a plain part of the wall to constrain stretching to that part.

BETWEEN all the mouldings.
