How to change materials of walls with complex profile?

Hi, I have a problem with complex profile walls. I've made a curved roof from a wall, but i don't know how to change its materials. I need 1, 2 and 3 colors to be different materials. Thanks.
i use AC11.

The end material is controlled by the element (Wall, Beam, Column) material. The material of the extruded faces are controlled in the Complex Profile Manager dialog.

In the window where you created your custom profile, select a fill
Place your cursor so you get the mercedes cursor on a side and click on the last icon in the upper right of the pet pallet. This will open the Custom edge Settings box. Note that you can apply this material, line and pen to one or all of the fill's edges.

Thank you very much

Thanks Erika (and David)
I had only done basic complex profiles and with
your tip, I can get more creative and complex
with profiles.
Attached is profile I could not have created without
the tip.
I think I'm finally on my way to use the tool.
Thanks again.

Thanks Thomas
for C.P. info location tip.
Especially like this little gem:
"The facing end of the Complex Profile itself, while it may consist of multiple components that are distinguishable in Section and Floor Plan, has a single material in 3D view: the material assigned in the Model panel of its element Settings dialog box"

Well, you may like that limitation, I don't
Still this is an extremely powerful tool. A humble example is this gallery (pic attached). It's entirely made out of three slightly different complex profile walls, nicely joining with ordinary flat walls at the ends. No SEOs or other tricks, and still the (crude, I know) railings actually work!
And until they fix the 3D profile end material problem (I'm sure they will eventually, but just like some other common wishes it may need a better 3D engine in Archicad, and thus take a couple of versions yet) there are workarounds. Do a search in this forum and you'll find lots of better examples!

Thanks Thomas for the problematic answer example.
It certainly shows why a fix would be helpful
in that kind of situation.
My "gem" remark was just my glee at,
at least I know now.
In the residential design-build work I do,
although end-profile walls do happen, it is rare.
Well, maybe I should quantify that. Now that I have
the "key", maybe with more experience, I'll put C.P.'s
all over the place and need the "fix"!
