How to connect flat and inclined slabs?

LeeJaeYoung
Virtuoso

You are looking for inclined slabs.
By the way, I saw a video saying that ArchiCAD should use ROOF.
However, There is no way to connect the flat roof and the sloped roof here.
What should I do?
Do I need to make a Morph connection?

Every part connected is not accurate Right now, two places are not accurate.

I'm curious how you're handling it.

Roofs will mitre perfectly.

One of these is a flat roof at 0° pitch.

The trick is to separate the edges a little in plan so they are easy to work with.

Activate the roof tool.

Select one roof.

CTRL click on the edge of the other roof you want to trim to the one you have selected.

No unselect that roof and select the other roof.

CTRL click the edge of the other roof.

They should now trim and the edge angle will be set so they mitre perfectly.

Versions 6.5 to 27
Dell XPS- i7-6700 @ 3.4Ghz, 16GB ram, GeForce GTX 960 (2GB), Windows 10
Lenovo Thinkpad - i7-1270P 2.20 GHz, 32GB RAM, Nvidia T550, Windows 11

Can you show the status before connecting?
I use the ctrl key and it only makes noise.

Should the slabs overlap?

Is it okay to work in cross section?

Do it in plan or 3D.

And they are both roofs, not slabs.

Slabs can only be flat, not pitched.

It is easiest if there is a gap so you can see the edges clearly.

Thank you so much.^^

However, the strange thing is that you can't select a flat roof and select a sloped slab edge, on the contrary, you can select a sloped slab and then a flat slab.

I did it again. ^^
It's not that it's not bad, but the angle is small, so it doesn't seem to change.

And I think the fact that you have to do it only in 3D view is important.

Oh!
1. What is this feature?
2. How to go back to the original state?
3. When I select a slab and select a wall, it looks like this?
Is it possible to restore this to its original state?

I have one more question.
What version does Barry do the main work on?
