Hi,
I'm completely new to Archicad, I'm using 26 and just would like to learn it.
I'd like to draw a simple duct system using the MEP modeling tools, and although I can use the MEP route planner to "start routing" and "finish routing", my problem is how do I edit those ducts afterwards? When I try to select a node to move it always selects the whole thing. Even when I ungroup the pipe, then I just select a segment, but won't be able to adjust the nodes within that segment.
I tried to follow this: https://help.graphisoft.com/AC/28/INT/_AC28_Help/085_MEPDesigner/085_MEPDesigner-1.htm
But nothing seems to work like this article describes.
I applied the MEP profile as described by the help page above: Options > Work Environment > Apply Profile > MEP Engineering Profile
It didn't help.
When I select those pipes what I created with the routing dialog ( "start routing" / "finish routing"), I don't see any of those actions (move node, insert new node) in the hovering toolbar. So for example, I don't see this, only the actions in the line below it:
Also, the Enter System edit mode menu is disabled.
Clearly I'm doing something wrong. What do I do wrong?
Thank you so much!

You say you are using version 26 but the link you give is for MEP in version 28.
The MEP system was changed in 27 and amended further in 28, so it will have few similarities with 26.
Many say 26 was better, but we won't go there!
Here is a link to the MEP section of the reference guide in 26.
You may also find some videos on the Archicad youtube channel ... https://www.youtube.com/@Archicad/search?query=MEP
I am not sure if there are any specific to version 26, you will have to do a bit of searching.
You be looking for videos posted about 3 years ago.
