How to get a complex profile to rake up on an angle

is there a way to do so?
with a normal wall u just SEO or trim to roof surfaces.. but i havea complex profile that i want to run up at an angle..

You can rake the whole element if you use it with the Beam tool.

A complex profile can be a beam as well as a wall so long as it was set that way in the Profile manager.
A beam can then be placed on a slope.

tried it as a beam (gutter and fascia) and they dont really splice themselves together very well.....

Wouldn't it be nice if you could adjust the end angles of a beam just like roofs edges can. If you could ctrl-click two beams together and they would neatly join, it would work so much better than they do at the moment.

It would make solving problems like the above picture much easier.

its amazing how powerful and complex some of the things AC can do, yet it lack in some of the most simplest and obvious places.. such as above

For 300 dollars the http://www.encina.co.uk/objective.html Add-on would allow you to model that. Otherwise model it using a complex profiles and SEO operations

Has to be said to make the gutter do what is shown below, the raking section is a unique profile compared to the horizontal sections, so not really practical in the real world
