I want to print out a site plan from my A4 printer at an imperial engineering scale of one inch equals 500 feet. I have set my preferences to decimal feet. I would like to set the floor plan scale at one inch equals 500 feet (so that the printer would pick it up) but this is not an option in the floor plan scale window (Menu>Options>Floor Plan Scale). The closest scale I am allowed in this window is one inch equals 160 feet. There is a custom option available but it sets up metric scales.
How are imperial engineering scales such as one inch equals 600 feet or one inch equals 400 feet or one inch equals 500 feet achieved on in ArchiCad?
I have been working in metric for 18 years and the imperial system is “new" to me.
Thanks
