Unfortunately that's not working for me. My interior elevations are showing elements far beyond where I've drawn the limit lines.
It's like they're set to 'infinite' display range...except I can't change it.

If you select such a problematic Interior Elevation line and go to its settings Dialog, in the Horizontal Range field, do you have it set to By Limit Lines or Add bounded area?
It should be set to the former.
It should be set to the former.

Can you show a Floor Plan Detail, a Interior Elevation Settings Dialog and a generated Interior Elevation in screenshots?
Please also include AC version info.

Here is an old related post.
That's why I have never bothered using it.
Another feature that is great 80% of the time and trouble for the other 20%.
Probably more 95% - 5% in reality but it is the times that it doesn't do what you want that make it not worth using.
I just stick to the standard section tool.
I might have another look at it again now in 14 just out of curiosity.

Hmmm, wondering about that.
Normally I would do the same, but in this particular instance, keeping the project map structured and organised outweighs the disadvantage of this shortcoming.
Thanks for your input.
