Invisible Texture Problem

I have created an invisible texture for use on some of my AC17 complex profiles to remove things that should not be seen.

The problem is that I get the attached problem, it is invisible, but so is anything you should see when looking in 3d etc.

In section it looks fine!

any help welcome, cheers

I am using AC 17 with the latest hotfix installed on a MAC.

Transparent materials in 17 will make the entire composite or complex profile transparent in 3D.
It will work as expected in 18.
I don't know that this will ever be fixed in 17.
