Keeping operation applied on wall after splitting wall

Hello all,

I hope you are keeping safe! Question: we are getting a bit annoyed in the office because when we have walls with various solid operations applied on them and then we split the wall for some reason the operations are being removed from on of the 2 new walls. So only one part of the wall maintains a shape we gave through solid operations and the other one not. So we have to repeat all operations for the one half. So is there a way to keep operations for both parts of a split wall?

Not that I know of.
