Hi, I have installed Archicad 25 INT on a new PC on Windows 11 ProX64:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900X CPU @ 3.70GHz
RAM 32.0 GB, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
GPU RTX A4000 16GB, Eizo monitor 32inch SCREEN RESOLUTION 3840X2160
When I open the Layer Manager window the operation is too slow and the blue circle is spinning for about 5-10 seconds. The stretching of the window is also problematic, the movement is not smooth, it is very slow and the circle is spinning. The movement of the whole window is OK.
The above check was done with version 5005 and also with the latest version 5010, the results are the same.
On a check with other 2 PCs this problem does not appear.
I have noticed that the more the Layers, the more slow motion-stack problem.
This is happening only with the LAYER window, all other windows work fine.
Has anybody faced with the same problem?
Takis.

Dear Barry,
I was about to format my PC but before I did some extra checks.
Could you please try the following and let me know of the results?
1. Open a new native template and load the Architectural Basic Profile.
2. Click on Text Tool and write letters very fast to check if there is any delay while writing.
3. Open Layer Manager and stretch it fast to see how it responds.
4. Now load all other Toolbars and repeat the steps from 1 to 3.
You may also try the above procedure with a real project.
Please let me know asap.
On my PC after loading all Toolbars I noticed a big delay and slow motion of the Layer Manager while streching.
Best Regards,

Further to the above check on Windows 11 and after the 2nd procedure where all toolbars are loaded please load again the Basic Architectural Profile and repeat items 1 to 3.
On my PC the problems remain.

I only have Windows 10.
I opened default template with basic profile and turned on all all toolbars and all palettes.
Text is fine and stretching the layer dialogue is fine as well - just a split second delay if I stretch fast.
Tried changing back to the basic work environment and Archicad has locked up - but it has done that to me since about version 20.
It has never bothered me as I don't change work environments very often.

Hi Barry,
the delay and slow motion in less intensity shows up also on Windows 10.
I have concluded that this happens after I load my personal Work Environment Profile in native template of Archicad 25.
This personal profile was imported from my 2nd PC.
Please, I would like to send you my personal profile to check on your PC.
My steps:
1. Restart PC.
2. Start new Archicad native Archicad Template with Architectural Basic profile.
3. Pick Text command and write text very fast, the text on screen follows keyboard on time.
4. Load my Personal imported Profile.
5. Pick Text command and write text very fast, the text on screen has a significant delay.
6. This delay impacts also new Archicad instances.
7. To resolve the problem needs to restart the PC.
Best regards,
Takis.

The screen size 32inch and resolution above 2560X1440 (not included) has a big role to the delay and slow motion.

@Takis ,
I just installed your Work Environment.
I get no delays in typing text or adjusting the layer dialogue.
I just have standard resolution of 1920x1080 - I can't go any higher than that..

have you installed the latest GPU drivers?
have you uninstalled all Dell bloat?

Hi John, yes I did already.

Hi all, the problem has been resolved today. The problem was caused by Dell Services.
Dell Services cannot be uninstalled but they can be changed to Disable status.
They change automatically back to Enable every time there is a Windows update.
Thanks for all the help.
