I'm starting to use ArchiCAD again, as I'm now at the 'stage' where things need to be in 3dimension... (for obvious reasons).
I need to mass a few hundred houses, or spaces of similar size, but I need to do it quickly and, if is possible, use a method that will not slow archaicd down.
Last year I used walls and slabs, with the roof tool and SEO or trimmed to roof, however, this took a insane amount of time and made archicad slow.
I've not use ArchicAD (15) in a while, so I haven't become accustom to it's new features, but after looking at the 'shell' tool, it doesn't appear that that would work...
But basically, I just want to mass a load of houses, where no 10 are the same.
Thank you

For MASSING use slabs as outer contour for the houses. Roofs slow down 3D view. You should try using basic shapes for roofs.
