Layer Intersection Group Number not working.

I tend to use some amount of SEO for variance designs. We just switched completely to A25 from A24 and for some reason, the layer group numbering is not preventing intersections/ SEO's anymore. Anyone else having similar troubles? 

In the migrated projects from A24 the existing layer intersection group is working fine. However, when i want to create new ones/ update existing ones it will stop working.

As far as I understand, the layer intersection numbers only affect the automatic trimming of elements (wall to wall, wall to slab, etc.).

They have no effect on actual SEO where you create the relationship between elements.
