Log Walls - Smooth Interior?

Hello! Does anyone know of a way to make a wall with log texture ONLY ON THE EXTERIOR?

Specifically, we have a wall that will have a faux log siding applied on the exterior, but drywall on the interior. I've checked the "Use Log Wall" box in Wall - Log Details, and selected the first Log Shape option (smooth both sides). This gives me a hewn log siding look that we're going for, but it appears on both sides. For rendering and interior elevations sake, I do not want the log texture or chinking to show on the interior.

If I select the option that gives me log on one side, it comes out rounded on the exterior (I'm going for the flat hewn look), and with the flat hewn look on the interior. It's basically still showing the chinking on the "flat" side...

Is there a trick to get it to appear on only one side? I've considered offsetting the walls with another wall element with just the log on the exteriors, or just drywall on the interiors, but that would be a hassle for many reasons...

Just curious if anyone knows that I'm overlooking something.

Thanks!

No...and yes.  The log wall option is for fully log construction only, so you cannot use the log option and get what you want.

You can, however, create a custom profile (complex profile) wall that has exactly the shape/depth of faux log siding you want, with all the other construction elements for that wall... presumably sheathing, stud/insulation, gypsum, etc.  You'll run into some challenges... just as if you used faux log siding in practice.  For example, the siding has to dive into a trim piece (column) at corners, and window/door trim will have to be thick enough that the siding skin can dive into it with at least a small reveal.
