Magic wand tool not working archicad 26 &27!!

Hey, I am trying to make a mesh for a site like I normally do using contour lines and adding them to a mesh with the magic wand tool using spacebar, however on both archicad 26 and 27 I am not able to use the magic wand tool. I run MacOS with apple M2 chip and currently with Sonoma 14.3.

Previously when I had this issue, a simple shut down and restart of mac and archicad would solve it, but not anymore.

I have also tried assigning different keys to the magic wand tool, with no success.

Any advice is much appreciated, otherwise I'm looking into trying to learn a new software - which is not going to be fun....or help get my uni project done quickly!

regarding magic wand, you can activate its function by other ways, did you try all ways and nothing working with you?

It works fine for me in Archicad 27.

Can you give a specific example when it does not work for you? I tried it with Lines, Circles, Polylines, Splines, both when they are inside the Mesh polygon or when they overlap its boundary, and it works in all cases.

magic wand never worked for me by pressing space on Macbook , ever. But it works if i click on the tool. So I moved it into toolbar so it's handy... I don't use it often, so toolbar is enough.

You could have some other program or app running that is hijacking your shortcuts.

I am not a Mac user, so have no idea where to start looking.

But this has been a problem for others in the past.
