Making Transparent Fills

Is it possible for example to make a 25% fill that is transparent when printing. I need to be able to put color over a siding fill, I have not been able to print with transparency, but I have been able to see through the 25% fills to the siding fill on the computer. Make any sense?

thanks,
kc

So I figured it out, it turned out to be a pretty rudimentary. Its an option in the fill options window, below the line weight/color selector, there is a color selector for the voids between the lines. At the bottom right of the color selections there is a "0" with a slash through it, which is the transparency option between the lines. It prints as it views on the screen.
