It's an item placed on the Master Layout (which is a template for all the sheets created). You have to edit that element on the Master Layout.

This is what I too initially thought. So I went through all the master layouts and did a fit to window on each layout with an 'All on' Layer combination. None of them had any drawings placed on them and the drawings on each sheet are what I am getting the message on. Title block information I would expect this message but not on placed drawings. In other words, there is no master layout with these drawings on them that I can go to to edit.

the master layout selected for the layout is titled ABA CD 24 x 36. It is the first of 8 master layouts created (each of the 8 have different sheet sizes and different title blocks for different purposes/phases). If htis doesn't answer your question I am not sure I understand the question. Thank you for your help!

It sounds like there may be some lines or such on the Master Layout that coincide with the drawing somehow and AC is trying to select them instead of the drawing (and then telling you it can't).

I have checked and double checked and there is nothing in the master layout other then the title block. The gentleman was signed in as Team leader with exclusive access so we saved the plp file as a plc and then signed out to sever the connection. We reshared it, or made a new plp file out of the pln and now all is well. All drawings on the layouts are accessible now with the title blocks remaining as master layout items. Bazar!
