Memory and HDD available space in bottom right corner

Anonymous

Hello everyone!

I started using ArchiCAD 20 the other day and noticed the HDD free space and available free RAM doesn't show anymore in the bottom right corner, next to the "Background Update" enable/disable feature.

I searched high and low and could't find a option to turn this feature back on or a topic about this anywhere, I even looked at the videos posted on Youtube on the official archicad channel and saw the same "problem" there - AC 20 doesn't show it, AC 19 does show it.

Was this removed intentionally? And if so It would be really great to have an option to turn it on or off. I find it useful to know how much RAM space I have when doing renders, so I know if I'm approaching the limit.

The theme of ARCHICAD 20 was the simplification of the User Interface removing all visual clutter and thinks GRAPHISOFT judged was not really used by users.
I guess these little icons also fell victim to this housecleaning activity.
You should create a wish to bring this back.
I myself liked this feature and used it to check available space so I would vote "Essential" for a wish to bring it back.

Thanks for the response, I created a wish for this under the user interface subtopic, cast your votes!:

I'm guessing this was a PC only feature?
