Complex profile connections

Hi!

I have a situation where i have 2 types of wall:

Type A (which has concrete in its core and being used where i have earth to be contained)

Type B (same wall but with ceramic brick)

the bottom connection (example 1) is fine, concrete connects with concrete, all good.

the problem is when i want to connect type B with type A (example 2): I would like to run the ceramic brick of type B wall to meet the concrete wall, but i would like the concrete to stop and allow the interconnection of the insulation around it, which i cant seem to figure how.

When i push the walls together, the concrete does not stop where i would like.

I show some 3D screenshots. i hope i could explain myself clearly.

Cheers,

Z

This looks like a situation with Building Material Intersection Priority. When at the intersection, building materials with the higher priority will go over the other materials where the priority is set to the lesser value.

A solution would be to increase the priority of insulation material (and any other skin that needs to go over the concrete core of the wall) slightly over the value of the concrete material used in the intersecting wall.

However, bare in mind that those materials are used in the entire project, and pushing the priority higher will influence everything.

Also, make sure to check if the walls are properly built in terms of core materials, reference line positions and their connection.

Hope this helps.
