Hello
Is there a way to use the Rail tool to apply profiled posts in the hrizontal plane like in the sketch? What I mean is to have the profile of the post extrude paralel to the refference line of the rail rather than paralele to the vertical axis of the post. I'm pretty shure this can't be done, but I'm interested in a clever workaround if there is one.
Thank you.

Model the post in 3D from wall, slab, column, morph, or whatever you want.
Take note, model horizontal for the post to be perpendicular to the railing.
Then select in modelled post plan and "Save Selection as > Railing Post".
Then you can use that post in the railing settings.
