To my thinking, a complete set of easy to use 3d modeling tools should already be included in AC for the high price they ask.

Jesse,
Magic wand settings are in the Tools menu.
Profiler is an add-on. It should be in a sub-folder inside the
the Add-ons folder. If it isn't there then it is in the Goodies folder
and should be moved to a sub-folder in the Add-ons folder.

The nice bit about this is that you can place multiple copies of the truss and then edit and resave from the original source and all the instances will update.Peter wrote:A simple solution was easy with trussmaker, but then I wanted to add detail so I attempted profiler.

Profiler is only active in plan view (it appear greyed out in section and 3d windows)
I tried making my object in plan, but now it needs to be rotated along the y axis to be correctly oriented.
How is this possible in ArchiCAD without the Objective addon?
