Trying to get the anti-slip strip at the landing to align with the bottom flight, I came across a 100 mm ghost outline that only appears on Edit when clicking on the baseline. Those polygons with no 3D existence can then be selected, and are described as “Structure”. The stair has no “draining” –thought it might be a related bug, but changing the “draining” dimension and turning it on and off changes nothing in this respect.
What is that?
Stair ghost structure in “Edit”

Ok so I tried to make some stairs and I have them too.
First of, we have stringers (yes I know, we both chose monolithic stairs, but apparently the stringers are also here).
If you press ctrl+T (settings) when that part is selected, you get this:
Aside from telling you what it is, it also gives you the option to change something (didn't figure that one out yet), but if you click on "stringer component settings" right under the picture twice (so close and open up the submenu) it will give you the option to change the stringer:
Same for the other thing, but here I just changed the number and it let me change the stuff below:
Here is also what happens if you choose to have an end plate:
So in conclusion, I don't know what this is. But I assume that those things are not so much important to the architect as they are for civil engineers; I think that those are hidden stringers and if you select all the materials and weight/mass/load/idk what is it in english of the house archicad can help you in terms of will the stairs stand and how will they stand.
Sorry for the rant but hopefuly this was helpful and understandable,
