Navigator closes when I return to plan view

I'll go to Window>Show Palette,... show the Navigator palette, but when I click back to the plan view the Navigator turns off again. I am attempting Trace Element operation between Plan and Survey using a Worksheet for the Survey.

I'm in AC 15 now, with the latest build. Still in Snow Leopard.

It sounds like you have accidentally enabled auto-hide. In the navigator pallet on the top, far left is project chooser. Right-click it and disable auto-hide.
