Obvious answer - you turn it back on.
You can do this by re-applying your Work Environment.
Or go to the Windows menu > Palettes > Navigator.
Or the default keyboard shortcut should be F10.
NOTE: in the TAB bar there is a button for a temporary pop-out navigator.
It will disappear automatically as you start to work on you plan.
Then just pop it out again when needed - gives you maximum screen space to work in.
There is also a button in the pop-out navigator that allows you to turn on the permanent navigator as well.
