Sure you can choose from Vectorial or OpenGL styles when viewing the 3D window.
The styles are also saved with the views in the view map.
I find OpenGL is the quickest to navigate with and looks nice as you can see the textures,
But Vectorial will give you a truer view of what your documentation will look like (i.e. the edge lines and surface hatching).
