Outlookers are cropping to wall underneath

I'm drawing a house plan, putting in outlookers on the roof. Only problem is, they are trimming (splitting) to the wall below. How do I stop/fix this?

I assume they are modeled as beams?

Have them use a Building Material with a lower Intersection Priority than that of your wall, or put them on a layer with a different Intersection Group.
