Patch technique

When we create sections elevations or reflected ceiling plan from the model portion of the element appears on the drawings which we do not want on the drawings. I have heard that we can patch or erase these elements. Please advise if someone know how to do or other ways to fix this.

If I understood you correctly, you need to separate out the parts of the model by layers.

Take a look at the sample projects that came with ArchiCAD in the 'ArchiCAD Examples' folder.

You can open up the layers settings box to see how the different layer combinations can easily control which elements show where.
