Pen Weights

Not applicable
I have assigned different pen weights to each object however when I plot/print all the lines print as a single thickness. Is there some way to enable pen weights when printing? Or is this a printer setup issue?

I assigned pen weights in ArchiCad only. These weights do not print from archicad or plot maker however. I have tried printing to two different printers and a plotter. Specifically, I would like to print my floor plan from archicad to my HP 9650 printer. I set the printer to greyscale but can't find any settings related to line weight.

Some printers print "true weight" only if you have "true weight" set in your display options.

Remember, there are three places you can set your pen weights:
1. In ArchiCAD
2. In the PlotMaker Book
3. In each PlotMaker Drawing.

Also check your printer settings carefully - they can have an obscure option like "print all lines as hairlines" or something.

You will get better answers if you give more info. What printer (or plotter)? Printing from AC or PM? System & software versions are also helpful.
