Placed Drawing way off Layout

I don't know what I have done, but now when I drag and drop a view onto the layout, it shows up about 1/2 mile off the laoyut. I have to zoom extents to see the selected drawing which shows up as a dot in the distant corner of the zoomed out window. Every time I change the scale of any drawing on the layouts, they jump to a new position. I did a search on this issue but to no avail. Any hints?

The pattern of the Hotspots is the same as the pattern of the Drawings.
Is it possible that there is a Hotspot far to the right and top which gets included into the Drawing when the View is placed on the Layout?
Can this Hotspot be deleted?
Is it possible that it is on some hidden layer?

This was my thought, and is why I checked that area on the model (on all layers). There was nothing there.

The other thing is that the drawing's frame does not encompass the point of insertion, which would have otherwise indicated an element out there.

Consider yourself lucky that you see any hotspots. My screen shot shows a huge blank field. You can only see the drawing if you do a SELECT ALL and then it is just a dot off to the right of center.

I have just been working around it because I need to get the work out. I will vent later.
