I have been using Archicad for about a year and was basically self trained so I know I have missed a ton of stuff. Essentially my problem is this... I have some scanned immages that I have pasted into my drawing and would like to have appear on the drawing when I plot it out. Unfortunately it seems that pasted images will not plot out. They just dont appear at all on the drawing.
Is there some setting I have missed or something that I can do to make the images appear when I send the file to the plotter? I do not use plotmaker, all of my work is done in Archicad.
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.
Dennis

Through some experimentation I came to the same conclusion with the PDF's...
Now is not the time for me to switch to plotmaker... First off I have to convince my boss that it is a good idea, then I have to learn the program myself, then I have to train my boss in the use of plotmaker. My current project does not incorporate that sort of timeline.
I understand PM is the way to go but at the moment I cannot switch to it.
Our Plotter is a Ricoh Aficio 240W...
Anyway, thanks for all your input

Whatever time you invest in PlotMaker now, will be returned hundredfold in a month. In an usual worksflow, the perception is that there is never a time for a change or an improvement. That will only result in your pracice being less efficient than possible.
Heck, think of automatic sheet numbering, section/elevation referencing, auto titleblock text ...
... or, do you use ArchiCAD only for modeling and give it out to someone to "draft" in one of the Automatic Drawing Tablet ((c) Tom W) softwares?
