Printing Solid Walls in Black and White

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have my walls set to show as solid for a marketing set of plans.

When I print the file in black and white, the wall fill is NOT black, but gray.

Why?

It's dependent on the pen settings for the fill that the wall uses. You might need to check what pen the walls are set to then make sure that pen is set to print black and not gray.

I see. So, in this instance, the pen is #10, Red, 0.31mm. I will change the pen to #1, Black, 0.51mm.

Thank you!

Actually, in the Model View Options, I have my walls set to appear as Solid. The "solid" color shown is gray and NOT black.

In the Wall Settings dialog, I can change the 'Cut Fill' Color to black. But that will also affect the appearance of my walls, when i want to show the wall's composition in plan.

If I'm correct in this, is there a way to change the color of 'solid' in the Model View Options dialog?

The "solid" color is usually based on the fill pen of the element you are seeing. It's not a global pen setting for all elements, so some could be black and come could be gray.
