Problem with custom curtain wall

Hi!

Can you tell me why this space is there and how can I fix it? In the plane it is correct.

what is the actual issue? there are too many ways to apply materials, to begin to answer this. normally I assign materials to the panel types and million types. pretty normal practice. overrides are not a good practice and changing through object styles is ok, if you want everything to be the same, regardless of family or system.

@lumen , the question has nothing to do with materials.

It looks like it is an issue of why the 3D curtain wall is offset away from the reference line.

@Ivika , do you have custom frames or panels?

I see the offset from reference line is zero (0).

But it is set to measure to 'Panel Center' and your panels do not look flat in the image.

I created a custom panel to generate a parametric facade. That's why the panels aren't flat. The strange thing is the gap between the 3Ds panel and the wall, and I can't seem to adjust it. Whenever I change the offset in 3Ds, it messes up the alignment again, and I can't figure out why.

Hi @Ivika

Check the position of the original geometry you created for the object. It should have 0 elevation.

Anyway there are some options within the curtain wall panel settings that you could play with.
