Profile arc resolution problem

Hi guys,

I made a profile as in the picture, but when I used it and drew a beam using this profile, it looked different - arcs are not arcs but straight lines.
What am I doing wrong ?

thanks!

It is a known issue, discussed here: Custom Profile.

Thank You David, that helped me a lot...
My apologies for duplicating the question.
notice that with the molding library parts you can set the resolution to 999 or what ever to make the curves of the molding a smooth as possible.

If you make your molding into a library part you could add a RESOL script like the one in the Molding Straight 21 and Molding Curved 21 have. I don't know exactly how to do that but it should be possible to get smoother curves by using some GDL scripting.

no reason to settle for less than super-smooth curves in ArchiCAD.
