Question to GDL GURU: How to create a Bended Torus?

As i know, this is unavailable to model bended torus surface in POWERFUL Archicad 12, although its GDL is a quite mighty thing.

Is anybody Have an idea?

Since a Torus is basically a rotated circle profile:
I would say try to experiment with the TUBE command.
With the TUBE command you can define a profile and you can define a path in 3D space. That should work, if I understood you question right.

But it would be better some real examples of some "tubes".

Download the "tubes" library from the following link:

One of the tube objects should be able to do what you want.

Notice that junction is not smooth for 360°, but this is doable, with some work.
This is a scratch example from a previous object, no time to investigate further. Hope this can help.

You can thank Braza (Paulo H. Santos) for the "smooth rise" formula, definitely a good one. 😉
