Hi Guys,

I am working on a high school project, where i am designing a new airport.
These are my specific questions:

1. How do i create 'realistic' slab edges like the photo below?
http://www.bestourism.com/img/items/big/7854/Schiphol-Airport-in-Amsterdam_Interior-design_14399.jpg

2. How do i create suspended ceiling effect like this?
http://www.ausbt.com.au/photos/view/maxsize:640,480/52797835e2a046b79b9b53ae767f2254-singapore-chang...

3. Should i edit floor textures in Archicad or 3DSMax - Vray when i am rendering? and what prep would i need to do?

thank you so much in advance

Regards,
John

It is not clear which elements in that photo you re trying to model, please be more specific.

This could be done with a Custom Profile, saved for use with the Beam Tool. Either the entire suspended ceiling as one profile, or parts of the ceiling as separate profiles (a 20 band beam, and a 2 band beam), then placed individually. In the Help Center see: Creating or Editing a Complex Profile Element.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
