Railing Segment Pattern Settings

Does anybody have any idea why I am unable to change the Pattern Distribution and Position in my railing? See screenshot. Working in AC22.

Does this happen for any new railing you create or just in an existing one?
Try using a favourite to create a new railing.

At the moment I can't work out why the distribution settings would be greyed out.
