Railing troubles

The attachment is an image of the railings i'm currently trying to draw up in Archicad9. I got so far as the railings, but have no clue how to connect a sloping hand rail that follow the stairs or how to curve the end of the rails.

If anyone has any tips, it would be much appreciated

ArchiForma should do it or Try 3D Profiler from CAD Image.

Ah, you're just not a pretty face, Peter.
Like the way you think outside the square.

Thanks for the tips guys!

Although I have managed to create the guardrail, I am still having difficulty creating the handrail for the stairs since the handrail is attached to the guardrail.
I've created a separate bar on plan using the truss maker but I can't seem to get the bar to follow the slope of the stairs on section.

Any suggestions?

Hi Susan,
an inclined cylinder joining an elbow (both found in Basic shapes) should do the trick.
Hope this helps.
