Which tool should I use for reflected ceiling

The Slab Tool works well for me.

It is too bad if you have a sloping ceiling because the roof tool shows the top of the slope in 2D when you actually require the bottom view of the slope. The problem becomes worse as the "roof" gets thicker.

I wish GS would give the option of which side to view from. BTW I put this as a poll wish some time back but dont think any one voted for it. I wonder how people work around this???

There is a new option for Model View Options for GDL Objects in AC11 -
Story Viewpoint Type:
- Floor plan
- Ceiling Plan

If standard ArchiCAD tools such as Slab, Profiled Walls or Beams are not so good for Your work check Cigraph plugin called ArchiPanel:
